Not my favorite beer for a West Coast IPA. The aroma reminds me of mild cheese and the taste has a bit of sawdust to it. It has the bitterness of an OG WCIPA, but it tastes like the dry hopping went wrong somehow. It could just be the hops that were selected, and there is no mention of what they are. My sample was about 5 weeks old.

Clear dark amber brew with long-lasting foam in the tumbler. Quite aromatic with tangerine. Fruity with the usual mixed citrus juice and peel. Sudsy and lively on the tongue with distinctly alcohol finish. Overly bitter aftertaste with more grapefruit peel. This boldly flavored brew now available in the 19.2 can. Dated 2/20/25 so it's coming up on its first anniversary. Still not bad and plenty of hop flavor.

Pours a murky dark honey with a scant bit of head that quickly becomes a thin ring with virtually no lacing. Faint tropical fruit aroma and flavor. Needs some carbonation.
