On tap at the LA Beer Week Kickoff Festival held at Exposition Park in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a murky reddish-orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is sour with malt, cherry, cherry juice, funk and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with sour cherry, cherry juice, and funk flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with great sour cherry qualities that are slightly better in the taste to me.
