Enjoyed from a growler via Eight Ball Brewing at The Party Source. This unique coffee and pumpkin ale beautiful dark amber with a nice head of off white foam that subsides to a thick ring, a thin layer, and moderate lacing. Nose is subtle with light coffee, light nutmeg and standard pumpkin spice, roasted pumpkin, and sweet touches of brown sugar. Flavors surpass the nose with a baked pumpkin bread flavor to the front, light coffee-cold pressed and not bitter, and touches of sweet brown sugar to the middle. Flavors settle in the back and sides with coffee and light spices of nutmeg and allspice. Medium carbonation with a very lightly dry and subtly sweet finish. A pumpkin ale I actually like compared to others that taste all too overwhelming on the pumpkin end.
