Thoroughly enjoyed from the growler via Ei8ht Ball brewing in a snifter. This beefy beast pours a dark muddled brownish amber with a nice head of light tan foam that settles to a thick ring, thin layer, and light soapy lacing. Nose of dried cherries, dates, raisin, brown sugars, oak, vanilla, and VERY strong bourbon. Flavors follow the nose with bourbon dipped toffee and caramel notes on the front, dried cherries and raisins on the middle, vanilla and oak on the sides, and strong bourbon and zesty hops on the rear. Nice mouth feel, slick, sticky sweet, light carbonation, and a warming finish. An excellent brew especially for the high ABV associated with it. Nice.
