Great winter beer! Has a gingerbread aftertaste and is slightly bitter. Does not taste like it is 9%. They did great on this one.

L (4.25) - This beer is a beautiful deep amber, with a pleasant head on top.
S (4) - Not a lot of smell. Smells like malty beer, and a hint of spice. A hint.
T (3.75) - OK, not real fair here, but I'm not a big "spice" tasting beer here. I feel it is a little too sweet. I feel maybe a little more hop would have punched it up a bit.
F (4) - Good carb and mouthfeel. Drinks well. Might expect a little more viscosity.
O (4) - Overall, a good beer. I am probably not a huge fan of the style, but the spices were a little much for me. Tis the season, I guess!
