Poured a cloudy gold body with one finger head that stuck around and left bits of lace. The aroma seems more caramel malts and bread malts than it does hops as I get minimal citric hops. A rather sweet and sticky beer for an IPA, decent caramel malts give body its sweetness and there is a bready, fuller mouthfeel for this beer. Not balanced as just a bit of citric hops in this beer and it's not horrible, but as a beer itself it is just bland and somewhat oversweet and as an IPA it's not worth your time as no hops come in.

Poured from a can into a shaker pint, the beer is a hazy, orange-tan coloring with a low profile, foamy, off-white head, with a ton of carbonation in the body, as well as some sediment floating throughout. Aromas of light orange rind, grassy hops, lemon zest, and subtle toasted grains. Flavors are richly sweet and cloying up front, with caramel notes blending with clove spice, sweet citrus characteristics, and overly roasted characteristics. The body is smooth and light. More sweetness in the aftertaste, almost sticky sweet, with heavy caramel and toffee notes, and a solid linger to the clove and pepper spices. Smooth, slick finish. This one misses the mark on the IPA style for me.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a murky golden yellow. Tbe head is small and white. The flavor is full of light hops and malt. A real good brew.

Good golden color with creamy semi off-white head. Heavy aroma of fresh oranges and a touch of pine. Taste is fresh, lots of fresh squeezed orange juice and a good hop bitterness. Balances quite well but lacks depth..

Pours translucent and golden to copper in color depending on the light. 2 finger off white head leaves decent lacing.

Nice sweet herbals and tropical fruit on the nose.

Slightly harsh on the bittering hops at first, perhaps the alcohol contributes to that a bit. It mellow out though. Too light on the aromatic hops, the malts are way more prominent. Nice caramel. I liked the taste after I got past the bitterness, but it doesn't really taste like an IPA.

I like the mouthfeel as well, but it seems too thick for the style. Medium full, I'd say. I'm heartburn sensitive, and I got a substantial alcohol burn early. It did mellow out, but I'd still call it warming. Rather creamy with light carbonation.

While the aromatic hops were predominant in the aroma, they relatively indistinguishable in the taste. I never would have guessed it to be an IPA. Still, in the end, it's an enjoyable brew., and I wouldn't mind trying it again.

Pours a slightly hazy golden with a thin white head. The aroma is a bit more malt forward than I prefer in my IPA's. There's a bit of apple/ pineapple with a light citrus, low hop aroma. The flavor is pretty much like the aroma; nice malt flavor with a bit of tropical fruit. A slight caramel flavor comes through as well. The bittering charge is quite nice and not overdone. The flavor hops, (citra possibly or some sort of floral/tropical fruit hop) are somewhat lost in the flavor. It has a low to medium carbonation, finishes semi dry with a slight bitter palate. It's a good beer, but not quite an IPA. It hides its 7% ABV well but lacks the hop flavor punch expected from IPA drinkers. I'd order it out, but I wouldn't buy a 6 pack of it.
