On tap at Waterside
Look: Deep amber with a thin khaki head. Crystal clear.
Smell: Toasty malt, green apple skins, honey, whole wheat bread.
Taste: Much like the smell. Toasted malt. Honey covered whole wheat bread. No alcohol.
Feel: Very thin bodied. This all leads to drinkability but I think it might be a bit too much a sacrifice.. Fine carbonation. No alcohol. Mild sweetness and bitterness.
Overall: Just fine in every sense.

I tried this off the tapper at Grain in downtown Norfolk, VA. It poured a clear amber with white head that left a very nice lace. The scent had caramel malt. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with malt base. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

Soft, subtle nose. Easy drinking. Decent flagship.

Pours a nice golden, slightly red color. Decent head and nice lacing. Smell is light with some malt and little hops. Taste is malt forward and light hops. Too much carbonation, almost burns going down. Not a great ale !!

A little toffee, a little cereal, a lot of nothing. Just a bad fat tire clone.
