A Belgian Dubbel with dates and tamarind added. The dates provide a subtle sweetness and the tamarind contributes a balancing sour component.

Poured a cloudy, muddy, brown body with a bit of head and lace. Aroma is basically floral, grainy hops. The beer has a little bit of malt character and sweetness as well just enough malt body to give it some heft. Finishes "non-dry" with mostly a floral hop character. I could barely finish this and it certainly is a dubbel in name only.
