Draft at the Farmhouse location. Near black pour with a small beige head. Aroma is chocolate, roasty malts. Taste is rich chocolaty notes, minor almond flavors, licorice/anise and a mild sweetness. Somewhat boozy.

Poured a brown, almost black body with minimal head and no lace. The aroma is nutty, I'll say that, but there is little else going on in there. Smooth body, does have an "almond milk" (almonds don't lactate) sweetness to it along with a nutty edge; clean finish with sweetness to it and not a bad beer.
