This is a BBA version of the Scottish Ale. Poured a seethru copper body with minimal head and no lace. The aroma is strong as you get some fine sweet malts (caramel, toffee), and notes of wood and booze are prevalent and also strong. Smooth, woody, get some dark fruits like figs and raisins that add to a boozy vibe. The beer is somewhat sticky and heavy, slow-sipping, but overall it is enjoyable.
