Poured a copper body with minimal head and lace patches. The aroma is strong and intense, with notes of peat, smoke, woody, booze, figs and dark fruits. You get elements of smoke and peat (probably just smoke) in the taste that complement the booze, and beer is balanced thanks to sweetness from raisins, figs and dark fruits. The wood keeps the beer smooth, albeit still heavy, and is an enjoyable slow sipper.
