No canned on date. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Hazy gold with 1-2 finger white head with good retention and a sheet of lacing.
S: Pils plus biscuit malty aromas blend nicely with white grape and berry hop character.
T: Flavor is excellent with the biscuity malt character working really well with the berry qualities of the hops. Alcohol is well-hidden. Bitterness is low-medium. I am not sure how this fits as an "Italian-Style Pilsner" -- nonetheless it is delicious.
M: Unfortunately the mouthfeel is a bit thick and ale-like. Carbonation is low-medium.
O: A unique beer but I still don't get why this beer is named Italian pilsner. It is a nice beer to drink if you don't worry about the style.
