Black as night with a short-lived tan gead. No lace out of it, though
Smell is tartly floral note with faint chocolate, nuts and toasted malt.
Taste is kind of tangy/nutty with floral and toasted malt accompaniment. Odd for a porter but not bad.
Body is light, effervescence is almost medium. A decent brew but not what my palate wanted or expected.

sampled this One-off on draught last night. A collaborative brewing effort between Big Top & Sarasota's Cock & Bull Pub. When asked what direction to go within the Porter style...Imperial? Oatmeal? Coffee? they simply answered..traditional session Porter not unlike those in the days of Watney's, Beamish or Whitbread. The results were simply amazing! Dry roasted up front, with a semi-sweet & lingering finish that had me from the first sip to my Third pint! and why not? after all...this was a true "session Porter". Kudos to both Big Top and the gang at Cock & Bull
