Big Top went over the top, but I kinda like it. It pours almost black, even in the sunlight. Dark, toasted peanuts and a little dark chocolate. You have to drink it slowly at the end of a meal. I'll get it again. At Oak and Stone.

A maple, bacon, peanut butter brown ale. Either it's really good or a train wreck. Fear not, fellow passengers.
Arrives black with a wee film and ring of medium brown. Good lace left behind considering how little head there is to start.
Smell is intoxicatingly sweet with good maple and peanut butter notes followed by faint breadiness (pancakes!) and a little toastiness but no bacon.
Taste is sweet peanut butter followed by maple and toasted bread. Bacon is a whiff in the aftertaste.
Lighter bodied than I prefer, less than medium, but fairly smooth and delicious regardless. And at only 5.5% ABV, easy to knock back several. Good work.
