On tap at the brewery. Pours a thick, dark black. Motor oil. Minimal head and lacing.
Big chocolate and cayenne smell, no vanilla. Subtle coffee.
Strong chocolate forward, with a cayenne bite on the end that lasts a bit. No alcohol warmth, surprising for the 16.2 ABV.
Moderate carbonation, smooth mouthfeel.
Overall, a real surprise for me. Could drink a few of these. But probably shouldn't. The ABV is super sneaky.
