Arrives an opaque dark brown with a nice medium tan head that dissipates fairly quickly.
Smell is weak/faint, consisting of some toasted malts & chocolate.
Taste is toast, roasted malt, chocolate, faint vanilla. Great balance.
Body is just medium, carbonation is light.
If you're wanting to compare it to Southern Tier's, this is lower ABV, lighter body, not so sweet. And very good.
