Lots of cherry tartness and a little background roastiness.

Pour is a very dark brown, nearing black hue. Off white, nearing khaki colored head settles to a ring quickly. Aroma consists of sour cherries, subtle tartness, with a surprising amount of creamy chocolate. Nice floral and grassy profile. Taste is pretty much a chocolate covered cherry, and chocolate covered strawberry bomb. Great amount of sour from the cherries balance very well with the sweetness from the chocolate. Mouthfeel is surprisingly thick and creamy, almost has the body of a stout. Very low carbonation.
This is probably the most well balanced dark sour I've ever had. The contrast between the chocolate and cherries are flawless, and pull together very well. The thick mouthfeel compliments all of this. Fantastic beer, and by far my favorite Texian beer.

This had an odd aroma besides the sour cherry. Taste was sour with a strange seltzer taste. Maybe this one was spoiled. I may give another one a try sometime but for me, this sample was not very good.

This one had a weird balance, but I really enjoyed it. It reminded me a lot of Wicked Weed's CHocolate Covered Black Angel. It tastes a lot like a chocolate covered cherry.
