Gift from my best-Bro Artie ... enjoying out in The 'Zebo on a lovely Sunday afternoon....
Pours a dense, opaque, slightly hazy mahogany. Has a creamy, fine 1/2" layer of beige foam on top. It ebbs to a solid covering layer, with nice lacing. Aroma has caramel and toffee, brown bread and bourbon. Nice! It's smooth and creamy on the tongue, with a medium-plus body.
Flavor has caramelized brown sugar, subtle bourbon, figs and dates providing a nice semisweet covering of the palate. Finish checks in wth earthy, floral hopping, albeit restrained. Solid!!
