Bomber bought near the brewery this summer. I was thinking it sounded good and hoped for the best.

Pours with a nice head that disappears quickly. Golden color with lots of sediment in the glass bottom.

Smell is Belgian tripel with huge Parsnip in the back end

Taste is Belgian yeast sweet tripel with a giant parsnip taste. I was thinking it would be hidden but its in your face. I like it. As the beer warms it really becomes prominent.

Nice body and the 9% is very well hidden. I wish I had a few more bottles for Thanksgiving. I will be buying many more of these next time I am up in the Berkshires.

One of the most unique beers I've ever had. Never in a million years would I think of using parsnips in brewing, but it seems less crazy if you think about it. Parsnips have a decent amount of sugar and a nice nutty flavor.

Looks like a not-so-cloudy Belgian Tripel with a head that disappears very quickly. Not a ton of sediment.

The smell is not subtle. The parsnips have arrived, and they have a very distinct smell. You get a bit of nice Belgian yeast in the aroma, but root vegetables overwhelm the nose.

This is one of the weirdest beers I've ever had. Parsnipitty is very crunchy in a hippie kind of way, and I dig it. I was expecting a beer with a light parsnip quality, but they chose to go over the top with it. Parsnips have a subtle flavor, so it's fun drinking something that makes a subtle flavor jump down your throat. I suppose you could say that this beer is unbalanced, and you'd be right. I'm so used to strong flavors of hops and yeast that it's really fun drinking an "extreme beer" that's all about a completely foreign flavor to long-time beer drinkers. I can't wait to try more from Glass Bottom Brewery.
