Found this at a random bottle shop in Los Banos (near Livermore so makes sense, haven't seen it farther away). Great picture suggesting a Coop devil woman. Would have taken a pic if I knew BA (currently) didn't have one.
Pours golden. Foamy head. Mango and bread and hoppy aroma. Taste continues with a citrus grapefruit rind, and a strong bitter earth coming in. Wet cracker yeast flavor, this is a DIPA that a little rough around the edges. Hops are almost not controlled, malt fighting with astringent element. Nothing terrible but nothing spectacular. Shrug. Bitter finish and carby feel. Felt more boozy than the listed 8% on the bottle.

From a growler filled at the brewery. Mine was 9.7% ABV...the description is wrong or outdated. For such a strong beer, it doesn't have much of an alcohol taste...it lives up to its name. Floral aroma with a hint of grapefruit. Taste is nice and piney as is expected with a DIPA. Not the best DIPA I've ever had, but certainly delicious. I'll be refilling my growler with this one in the future.
