This is a really good beer! It’s got a big full bodied taste that warms the heart and fills the stomach. It has an added sensation of sweet without being sugary.

June 11th, 2015 - I like an Irish red to be chok-a-blok with malt and body, but the Legacy Chesty Irish Red is a bit flat. The aroma is fresh and full and perky with some strawberry. But the body is thin and the taste is flat, like a moderately old apple.

I love Irish Reds. It's usually hard to find one I hate. Had this one on nitro.
L: A little lighter than most of the IRAs I've had, but still plenty of red hues.
S: Toffee, caramel, honey, nuts, and biscuits
T: Follows the nose but also offers a hint of graham cracker.
F: Medium-bodied with the velvety feel of a nitro beer.
O: Karl Strauss Red Trolley is my favorite Irish Red, but this was still a damned good beer. The nitrogen really took it to another level. Highly recommend to any Irish Red fan.
