I got this on nitro. It does remind me of a Guinness but it did not bubble like a classic Guinness does. Tasted a bit smokier as well.

This pours a nearly black brew with a modest white foam in the Saxo tall glass. It doesn't have the hoped-for high-rise creamy head, but then it ain't nitro either. Plenty of spritz on the tongue. Nice grainy aroma.
Light body with plenty of flavor. The roasted malt flavor is distinctive. It's not quite bone dry, and the touch of malty warmth. There is a winey note and a hint of the charred grain that is so typical of the style.
This is quite drinkable and makes a good showing for the lower-alcohol end of the spectrum. It's just slightly stronger than Beamish and Murphy's. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Best Damn Beer Store in downtown SD.
