Color is a brownish-tinged amber that is several shades darker than typical Lagers. A modest pile of foam that subsides fairly quickly leaving only a few stray bubbles. The aroma is that pleasant German "beery" smell, which I guess is from the fruity hops and the maltier nose.
Quite malty flavored with a little toasted taste. Seems a little flabby at first, but it turns into a rather enjoyable sturdier quaff. Slightly grainy. Just faintly bitter. Silky mouthfeel rather than the usual spritz of a lager.
From the 22 ox bottle purchased at the brewery in Oceanside. Enjoyed in my tall Peroni Lager glass.

Almost dark gold with a one finger creamy head.
Sweet bread on the nose and palate. Lightly toasted. Some fruit notes.
More smooth than crisp mouthfeel. Slightly bitter finish.
A delicious lager. I like this style.
