Sweet and fruity. Definitely the stickier body with sugar seemingly oozing down the glass.
Deep dark fruity flavors with massive roasted malt. Burnt sugar and dark caramel from here to eternity. A little hot but the alcohol is pretty much submerged in all the sweet malt. There's an interesting woody note at the very end with a slight bitter aftertaste.
Lip-smacking good. Adequate Belgian yeasty notes, though it doesn't completely dry out. From the 32 oz growler purchased at the brewery tasting room in Oceanside.
