A 330ml clear glass bottle with a BB of Dec 2012. Picked up a 4-pack from a supermarket a little while back.

Poured into a straight pint glass. A clear pale-gold colour with good carbonation. Forms a decent head of white foam that lasts for a few minutes before dissipating. Aroma of ultra-light malt with hints of stewed hops and overcooked veg. Slightly sweet, with a faint sulphurous note in the background.

Tastes of very light malt with a mild finish. Faint hints of stewed hops, overdone veg and corn. Slightly sweet, with a harsh background flavour. Quite dry, with no bitterness to speak of. Mouthfeel is smooth, light and tingly, but thin and watery. Mildly astringent, with an aftertaste of stale stewed leaves.

Another crappy macro lager from Carling - bland, characterless and possessing a variety of unpleasant off-notes. Rubbish; no further description required. Avoid.

330ml Bottle reviewed @ home

Clear, pale straw colour with a surprisingly larger than expected, two-finger sized foamy white head. The retention is also better than expected & stays as a half-centimetre thick head for about a minute then a soapy lacing after that.

Skunky, grainy with an abundance of corn & other adjuncts. It beer hints a sweetness as well.

Quite bland & grainy with a mix of corn & vegetable adjuncts. This is all followed up by a watery tasting, skunky aftertaste.

Light bodied bordering on watery, tangy & sticky in the finish with minimum bitterness.

I pretty much got what I was expecting from this beer in the end, not a lot. It was drinkable but bland & not really enjoyable.
