A 330ml clear glass bottle with a BB of Dec 2012. Described on the label as a refreshing summer lager with a hint of natural citrus. One of the new 2.8% beers that the big companies are starting to churn out.

Poured into a straight pint glass. A clear straw colour with very low carbonation. Forms a small head of white foam that dissipates rapidly. Aroma of very light malt with a note of sweet, tangy lime. Insubstantial.

Tastes of ultra light malt with a sweet lime character. A dominant note of lime with a slight twang to it. No hop aroma or bitterness to be discerned. A sweet, mildly dry finish. Mouthfeel is light and tingly, but watery and thin. Faint lime aftertaste.

Meh - could be lime-flavoured water. It's got good drinkability; I could imagine swigging one after another but that doesn't make it good beer. No depth or character, this is just a gimmick to take a chunk out of the Desperados/Corona market. Save your money for something better.

Light golden colour with a thin, pinky sized head that is bubbly looking and bone white. After a minute or so the head disappears and leaves a thin, soapy lacing at the top.

Citrus to begin with, mainly lime in this instance with some background grain, touches of sugar and a bit of lemon. Basic, very light and dominated by citrus with everything else hard to detect.

Lime dominates and backed up by a tangy lemon zest flavour. There is some grain and very light hops along with some sugary syrup flavouring right at the end. A very citrus infused, sweet beer but rather plain.

Thin with moderate to strong carbonation and a lot of tang from the citrus. There is some bitterness right at the end but it's almost like drinking sparkling lime water.

Very basic, sub-par beer that was rather watery and not enjoyable at all. It's only saving grace was that is was so weak on flavour that it could be drank easily enough.
