A: quite cloudy light brown, little bit like iced tea (optimistic) or dirty river water (pessimistic). There is, however a nice creamy-looking head that lasts and laces the glass.
S: a bit earthy, getting some wet grain smells. Also get a musty smell that I am assuming are the mushrooms. The description sounds worse than the smell, but I'm also not getting much typical brown ale notes.
T: definitely get the mushrooms. After a quick subdued melon fruit taste, the flavor goes somewhat grassy (they indicate galaxy hops) before the dry earthy flavors of the mushroom take over. The beer ends a bit dry - not really changing from the earthy to grassy middle taste.
M: decent carbonation, but a bit watery. At 5%, it's not too big a surprise, and the earthiness tries to add some depth.
O: not a typical brown ale at all in my opinion. Not sure it goes into the fruit or herb/spice beer category either, but if you are considering this, I might go into it with that mindset vs brown ale. It is an interesting try, would like to see if they could tighten it up; even then, it would likely be a novelty more so than a core beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
