Traded for this a while ago, as was the case with so many beers in my stash, but I have no idea when as there wasn't anything written on the bottom of the can. For a nice summer day such as this, I enjoyed this beer as it was very berry-forward, easy to drink, and held up well over time - which is all that I could ask for on a day like this!
Not a bad pour to this as the beer looked like thin strawberry juice with a ton of loud, fast-settling head to top it off. No lacing was left behind as this was quite thin and any bubbles left after every sip just slid right down. Of course, there were strawberries and raspberries in the nose that felt like they were just picked out of a field, as this felt quite dirty and organic in nature. Very little tartness in the taste as this was quite slick, juicy, and bordering on feeling like vegetables on the back half. More cracker than yeast in the body as this was balanced, highly carbonation, and a bit tingly on the finish.
While not a true session beer, it would have been easy to crack another after this was finished off. Surprised how few ratings there were for this as I though that this was a good take on the style. With little sediment and plenty of flavor, this was easygoing and fun - just like any Berliner Weisse should be!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
