16 oz can into a willi belcher glass.
Opaque orange color with a large off-white head. Nice lacing and retention.
The aroma is typical Trillium IPA fodder: Dank whatever with some citrus and faint tropical notes.
The flavor is the same: Trillium hoppy beer with tons of hop burn.
The feel is medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation. Creamy and smooth. Tons and tons of hop burn with a touch of alcohol warmth.
Overall, this just tastes like the everyday crap coming out of Trillium nowadays. It has that nasty, vegetal flavor that all their hoppy beers have since they started canning, with a ridiculous amount of hop burn. Look I'm not one of those "expansion = bad" people. I like Tree House and Night Shift as much as I ever have (not to mention Founders and Stone). But Trillium just doesn't do it for me anymore. All their hoppy beers taste the same. And this is no exception. This has a faint hint of Swish in it, but otherwise it's got Trillium's nasty hands all over it.

Pours opaque, bright orange gold color with a biscuit, silky two finger head that retains well and leaves nice ring lacing.
Aroma punches you in the face on first pour with pungent notes of orange, papaya and grapefruit. Just splendid!
The flavor is just as rich with papaya and sweet orange blended well. There's a touch of cantaloupe in the finish. The taste coasts boldly into the finish, so this one never falls thin. A pale malt sits lightly in the background.
Feel is soft as can be, thick and pulpy. Low bitterness, moderate effervescence.
This is a wow beer for sure, the best of both breweries. there is little to find fault with this as a NEIPA. It's a a treat to have scored some.
