Brewed exclusively with Galaxy hops, Bissell Brother's single-hopped, New England IPA is simply out of this world.
Pouring a foggy golden-chrome hue, Exponent Galaxy layers with a dense blanket of creamy froth and carrying a racy perfume of tropical fruit, citrus, spruce and dank herbs across the nose. First on the tongue, the ale opens with a pillowy and cereal sweet taste of honeysuckle, shortcake and light cream.
Speeding across the middle palate, its sweetness soon turns fruity as the Galaxy hops share their citrusy flavors of white grapefruit, lime and lemon before trending tropical with passionfruit, young mango and papaya. Somewhat winey, the flavors of white grape gives a peppery taste that carries over to a smooth bitterness that shows up late with notions of lemongrass, verbena, green tea and fresh spruce.
Medium-full on the palate, the persistent creaminess of cereal grains keep the flavors alive but slow down the refreshment and drinkability of the overall session. A brisk finish with a curious aftertaste of hemp, tea and spruce signal closure to a very good session spent with an authentic New England IPA.

poured from a can dated 5/25/21
Cloudy light yellow appearance fluffy head, spotty lacing and full cap
Fairly light aroma of peach, green grapes and hard fruity candy
Taste is dank peach, some green grapes and kind of a tart hard candy
Mouthfeel is creamy and chewy, low carbonation and a kind of light bitter tart finish that hits the back of the jaw.
Overall, all though Sabro is not my favorite hop, this one is not a bad IPA, it has a nice fruit forward taste and a little bit of a tart bite type of finish. I liked it.

Gifted two cans from a friend. My third brew reviewed from these guys. This brew is a miss for me. I cannot put my finger on it, but something is off on the taste. Canned on date of 3/30.

16oz can dated 3/30/21.
Pours milky yellow with an inch-plus head of white. Plenty of tattered lacework and persistent retention. Dank and tropical in the nose. Resin with unripe peach and white grape. Aromatic but not pungently so. Medium bodied with a creamy, almost chalky mouthfeel. Candied peach and white grape on the palate with minimal malt or bitterness. Finishes juicy and tropical with a touch of throat burn.
