Drank from a 1 pint can purchased at Bissell Brothers Brewing Co., Portland, ME

Thanks to hopley for grabbing me these cans.
Hazy, yellow-orange appearance. Medium bodied for the style. The liquid was topped by a frothy, finger-tall, off-white crown that quickly dropped to a medium sized collar. Dots of lacing stuck along the glass.
The aroma was fantastic initially but became somewhat more subtle with time. Tropical fruits came through strong. Loads of mango and papaya. Bit of weed-like dankness as well. Touch of honey-like sweetness. As the beer sat, the tropical fruits subsided and citrus notes took over. Tangerine was most apparent. Orange notes were also detectable. The honey became more prominent too.
The flavor also stated out nicely but flattened as the beer warmed. Fairly malty and sweet up front. Citrus notes appeared as the beer moved along the palate. Like in the nose, tangerine and orange were most apparent. Some citrus rind-like pith appeared on the back end and the finish. Touch of bitterness. Bit of white grapefruit here as well.
Medium bodied mouthfeel. Slightly thinner than I anticipated. The liquid contained a fine, fairly subdued effervescence that seemed a bit understated for the style.
Based on my experiences with the beers in Trillium’s Cutting Tiles series, I had high hopes for this Bissel Bros. collaboration. Although this started out great, it lost its zip rather quickly. All in all, this was a nice DIPA, but it did not live up to my expectations.

Pours a beautifully bright opaque gold color.aroma is tangy dense with orange and papaya, but not overly sweet. The taste is sublime - nicely balanced sweetness with rich citrus flavors of orange and to a lesser degree some pineapple and papaya. The feel is super dense, smooth and creamy. Very little bitterness but a noticeable burn. Damn this is fantastic!! Knew it would be.
