From a 16oz can, dated 07/11/23. Served in a spiegelau IPA glass.
Pours a translucent hazy apricot-gold with a scant two fingers of soft, soapy suds. Retention is very good, leaving a sudsy cap and a rousable sheet of slippery lacing.
Nose is fuity, peachy. Aromas of peach, apricot, pine.
Taste is - totally unexpectedly - redolent of fruity esthers, bubblegum and a slightly funky saison-like yeast character. Sweet and tacky - hard to pin down the fruit being expressed other than as ‘stonefruit, other’ and that it’s ripe and sticky. At the very end, a little pine resin.
Feel is juicy and medium-light bodied with an abundance of fine, vigorous carbonation. Resinous, sticky finish carries through into the mouthfeel.
Overall, I can’t say that I was a big fan of this one. It was neither this nor that, there was a lot going on and none of it compelling, at least to my tastes. Truthfully, I’m not 100% certain there wasn’t something wrong with the can. Anyways… sorry?

Nice solid brew from BB brewery. I like to try beers from the brewery itself that aren’t for distribution and this was one. I also like the fact that all the ingredients come from Maine itself as I am a lifetime MainEAck. I would buy this beer again for sure.
