The Substance Grapefruit

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Beer is an attractive hazy dull orange. A thin ivory head. Nose is bitter grapefruit, with something slightly chemical. Taste is bitter grapefruit all the way. It's a little one-dimensional. The finish is bitter with a bit of an off or sour taste. Mouthfeel is fine. Overall, something in this beer isn't doing it for me.

Picked up a four pack of cans at Bradfords Liquors in Plymouth, Massachusetts for about eighteen dollars. My nineteenth brew reviewed from these guys. Solid.

Dark color of orange, almost pumpkin. Little white, forced head. Nose was fairly weak, could barely smell any grapefruit. Taste was much like nose, fairly weak. Minimal bitterness.
