On tap at Bissell Brothers Brewing Co in Portland, ME.
This one pours a hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing. It appears that this is a collaboration with Portland’s local soccer team, the Hearts of Pine.
This smells, well, piney, of course, with a clean orange and grapefruit juicy hop character.
I could see this going down way easy on a sunny day at a stadium. It’s got a little bit of bitterness, and a very pleasant clean, juicy, and smooth candied hop character – orange, melon, and grapefruit.
This is light bodied, juicy and soft, with a nice drinkability.
I love the idea of this, and it definitely fits the bill of what it’s probably trying to do.
