Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass, there is no "best by" date that I could find.
APPEARANCE: pours a hazy, copper color with less than one-finger off-white head that quickly dissipated until a thin, broken layer of small bubbles remained, minimal lacing, medium carbonation.
SMELL: slightly toasted bread and caramel.
TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially sweet caramel and toasted bread then a mild earthy hop profile.
PALATE: medium body and carbonation.
OVERALL: this is an average amber, I enjoyed it but there are better beers in this style so I would not seek this out again.

Very fizzy amber ale with a large off-white head of foam. It smelled of caramel malt and sweet bread. Very malty with very little hop presence. Almost too carbonated.

A : Reddish amber glow with a colossal head. The head is stark white and towering at 4 fingers, leaving sticky lace behind on the sides of the pint glass. Body is 70% transparent.
S : Honey, toasted malt, clean water, with some light lemony hop.
T : Extremely hoppy. Tart and bitter hop out front, with a gradual resolve into a more rich, calm, malty flavor with roasted notes. There's greatness underneath but it just gets bombarded by hop. Not a fan.
F : Zippy carbonation and a light mouthfeel. It ends slightly parched.
O : It was alright but far from a great Amber. Better than Fat Tire...but then again, most everything is.
