On tap at Right Proper Brewing Company in Washington, DC.
Pours an opaque black with a foamy dark khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of dark roasted malt, cocoa powder, earth, and char aromas. Taste is much the same with cocoa powder, dark chocolate, char, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of roast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is super flavorful and well put together for such a low ABV.
Serving type: on tap.

Draft at the source. Near black body with a thick beige cap. Aromas of coffee, roast, smoke, char, chocolate malt. Similar flavor. Light bodied and easy drinking. Really nice.
