Poured on tap at the Shaw brew pub into a becker nonic like glass.
Real nice creamy and bright white one finger head presented. Thin almost nitrous top to a matching bit of swiss cheese sized bubbles on the bottom. Golden body, almost looking like a classic Kellerbier, hints of light brown chestnut edges. Lots of ring lacing going down, real nice looking brew.
Interesting hop angle for this brew. Hop aroma goes to a small spice and herbs, and a cedar woody matching pine that is sort of thick. Comes off strangely juicy as well and gives a nice sense of chewy malt body as well. Real nice!
Palate continues the goods. Soft flavors and mouthfeel. Classic chewy malt depth and a linger aromatic hop finish that stays nicely. Soft pine with juicy tones. More woody character but with some excellent malt sweetness that keeps the flavors much more balanced. Clean and great chewy body.
A real solid wheater these range life series seem to be. Interesting how they are playing around with hop varietals, this is a unique and memorable one too that is nice in this brew.
