Looks like the perfect porter. Smell and taste malty like one would expect. Quite carbonated in a good way. I would defiantly drink more.

Pours a very opaque dark brown color with a thin foamy head. Head retention is mild. Lacing is decent. Chocolate Java on the aroma. Light Chocolate taste up front with a bitter Java taste at the end. More roasty on the taste. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

From a can. Pours a dark cola brown with a ring of white foam. Crystal clear. The nose is roasted malt and toffee, sweet. The flavor is roasty, slight dark chocolate and coffee. Medium-light bodied. A solid porter.

The beer is a dark brown color with some red showing through. Small off-white head, no lace.
Roasted malt aroma.
Coffee taste, some bitterness.
Medium-bodied.
Not exceptional, but quite drinkable.

One of the most solid porter's I have had in quite some time...
I really liked how it looked and how it had that truly, rich porter smell. The rest of it was simply solid. Definitely worth a try...

Very dark brown, quite opaque but reddish light does shine through. Good head but no lacing. Pungent nose, not exactly what I expect or like from a porter. Rich coffee taste but also metallic (a fault?). Good feel and finish. It’s good but there are many better porters I feel.

Appearance: Dark brown, mousse-like tan head with good retention
Aroma: Herbal, roasted malt with hints of coffee
Flavor & Aftertaste: Restrained bitterness, medium sweetness, roasted dark malt flavors
Mouth-feel: Soft, medium length finish, low palate carbonation
Overall: Very enjoyable straight up porter. No fancy adjuncts. It's difficult to find a good traditional porter these days. Stark is a great choice for one wanting to drink a more traditional porter. Not too heavy, drinks nice and soft. No strong lingering aftertaste. Solid porter.

Wow pretty enjoyable ! Really nice flavor and the aroma is also great. I would definitely get again if given the opportunity in the distant future or now.

Pours an inky black. Nose expresses a roasty quality with notes of coffee. Taste follow nose; however, it comes off a bit watered down. Mouthfeel is also a bit dull and watery. Overall, a little lackluster.

From Degustasur. In Teku glass. Playing Cally's Caves 3, the Walking Dead Season 2. Foam party, but taste isnt bad, dont seem contaminated. Correct but nothing oustanding, probably overcarbonation dulled it
