Imported German 2-row barley and Hallertau Mittelfrueh hops give this German-style pils it’s crisp, clean character. Warning: this beer’s subtle grain sweetness, spicy hop aroma and refreshingly dry, hop-forward finish may elicit a spontaneous Prost!

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Hard to read the date, but looks like canned on 4/30/24.
Appearance: pale yellow hue with just a dash of haze and a thick finger of frothy eggshell foam. Seems legit.
Smell: a little sweet, but also a bit grainy and astringent. Not bad, but not as soft as I'm looking for in a German pilsner.
Taste: lightly sweet and less grainy than the aroma. The balance here is different, and it isn't quite as astringent, it seems. It has kind of a robust flavor for a pilsner ... I kinda like it.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a big carbonation and a nice creaminess.
Overall: this beer drinks well for several beers, and I think that's a pretty good measure of overall quality. Not bad!

Pours a clear golden with white foam in the Hopleaf goblet. Pleasant aroma of straw and honey. Soft mouthfeel with prickly carbonation. Dry malt flavor with a resiny finish and faint sourness. Clean and refreshing with herbal/flowery hops. Moderate bitterness that seems a little too bold for the light flavor. Fans of West Coast IPAs will find it just right. New label with the bold graphics and ABV is 5.20. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 02/15/24.

Definitely looks the part color wise, crystal clear very light gold color. The head really lacks any appeal after it settled, huge translucent bubbles that pretty much all but disappeared into nothing. The beautiful color and clarity make up for that a little bit.
Aroma comes off very bright, first there is a cracker like smell along with some spice, graininess, and floral notes.
The taste is at first subtly sweet which quickly disappears, then water cracker, grass, and ends spicy/peppery.
Light bodied beer that goes down very clean and smooth. Finishes dry with a really nice bitterness. Begs for another sip.
Very impressed by the two beers I've had from this brewery, I would love to have a brewery like this locally.

Had on tap. Crystal clear golden body with two fingers of white foam, solid lacing down the glass. Bready pilsner in smell and taste, to the point that the yeast is a bit out of balance, almost somewhat raw in the taste. Otherwise it is a lovely german pils with a grassy hop flair and good pilsner malt. Feel reflects that strong yeast making it chewy and heavy for style but crisp and clean by the finish.

16-ounce can purchased at Wildwood Taphouse in Hillsboro, OR. Enjoyed in a nonic half-pint glass. Canned on 02/18/21.
Look:
Pale straw gold and perfectly clear. The head of bright white foam dissipates quickly but leaves nice intricate lacing.
Smell:
There's some dry and bready malt in there, but it's predominantly floral and spicy noble hops with a smidge of sulfur underneath.
Taste:
Pretty much what the nose already told you: crisp, unobtrusive malt nicely balanced by spicy noble hops. But where the nose is floral, the hop flavor is decidedly herbal. There's a welcome touch of honey in the malt flavor which offers a bit of sweetness. The aftertaste is bready and satisfying, and lasts longer than I'd expected from a beer that started out so lean and efficient.
Feel:
Medium-light body with moderate carbonation and a crisp, moreish finish. Good drinkability.
Overall:
Stoup German Style Pilsner is clean, crisp, deceptively simple, and well made. It's right there in the middle of the road: nothing particularly memorable, but absolutely no flaws. That's quite an accomplishment in an unforgiving style that casts any shortfall of brewing ability in sharp relief. Good bitterness and easy drinkability. Recommended.

16oz can served in a nonic glass. Canned 06/24/20.
Look- Clear golden color. Solid bright white head that slowly recedes to a thin cap of foam, decent lacing. Very active carbonation streams visible.
Smell- Bready and honey malt, yeast, light citrus and green apple, a bit of spice, herbal/grassy and floral notes.
Taste- Lemony citrus, a bit of green apple, yeast, sweet bready malts, dry floral/earthy hops and light spice.
Feel- Medium/light bodied. Crisp with a fairly dry, lightly bitter finish. Medium/heavy carbonation on the tongue.
O- A pretty solid American take on a German Pils. Nothing spectacular but worth trying on a warm summer day.

16oz can (dated 6/24/20) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a clean, clear, bright, light gold color with an inch of white head that had moderate retention and almost no lacing.
The aroma was solidly on the "Classic" Pils point; earthy grains and floral hops.
Same on the tongue, just what you expect from the style. No more, or less.
The body was the expected light and crisp of the style, with a medium-dry finish.
Drinkability was nice, as expected.
Overall, a solid take on the style. Certainly worth a shot if you see it.
