I'm reviewing the Stoup "Centaur's Gift", a Rye Barrel Aged Imperial Stout. Slightly different name, but it seems like the same beer, so I didn't make a new listing.
It's a good looking stout, very dark, with a nice head and lacing that lasts. The aroma is whiskey. The flavor has a lot of rye barrel influence, plus roasted malts. It's not bitter, and not sweet. There's some coffee.
Overall, it's a fine barrel aged stout, well worth seeking out.
