Soft apricot peach body that you can't see through. Decent fluffy white head that settles in to little more than a thin cluster but excellent lacing.
Nose is sweet citrus and soft peach and mango.
Softly sweet at first it's primarily overripe mango and papaya with orange and maybe some of that strawberry banana smoothie odwalla type thing. I got a sharp spicy note early on but it isn't really there any more the further into the glass I get. Not really any bitter balance to speak of, and this is about the first time I"ve noticed that and not found it to be incredibly conspicuous and offputting. I still prefer to have some balance and classic IPA presence, but this one manages to sneak past that preference point. I think if this came from a different area it would have a lot of people looking for it.
Body is soft and on the thinner side. Lighter carbonation and finally on the tail end of the finish is there a minor swell of a head nod to citrus bitterness, but it comes in just at the last minute and only subtly, like that Jeremiah Johnson gif. (alliteration ftw).

Can shared by Darrell. Thanks man.
Yellow body, mild haze, half inch of white head. Aromas of melon, floral hops. Light in body, hop forward, easy drinking. Solid.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a cloudy, medium golden amber with a one finger white head with good retention and nice lacing. Looks like an Eastern style IPA. Aroma of pale malt, citrus, tropical and dank hops, lemon, orange and mild guava. Flavor is neutral malt with a slight hint of caramel, citrus and tropical fruit hops with some dankness in developing, grapefruit, orange, light pineapple and guava. Finishes with moderate fruit oriented hop bitterness. Medium bodied with light creaminess and good carbonation. At first I thought the "confusion" would be a Northwest/Northeast hybrid IPA, but this is clearly a Northeast inspired ale. It hits all the unfiltered tropical and citrus hop notes with a malt base that has little flavor of its own, but supports the hops well. The fruit flavors are a little muddled, but the citrus rind and mild tropical fruit hoppy finish is quite satisfying. A nice right coast inspired IPA from a brewery I'm long overdue to sample.

Poured from a 16 oz can into an IPA glass.
Look- light yellow, turbid from sediment, low head retention.
Smell- a citrus punch.
Taste- heavy citrus favor, good balance from start to finish.
Feel- low carbonation, thin consistency.
Overall- I though this was a really good beer. Definitely a citrusy IPA. I hope to try other beers from Stoup in the future.
