Our Altbier pays homage to historic ales from Dusseldorf Germany. Skagit valley Pils and Vienna malt with the addition of German Munich malts create an ale with full body, while imported German hops provide a firm clean bitterness.

On tap at the brewery, Seattle.
Hazy oxblood; sourdough rye crust; lots of melanoidin, some dough and slight grass to end; dry.

Hits the toasty notes. Feels undershopped, though - not getting 40 IBUs - and kinda dies in the middle. Solid effort, if not as deep and complex as I want.
