Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a fine, three finger head that dissipates slowly to a thick cap with great persistence. Aroma of pale malt, tropical fruit and citrus hops, pineapple, kiwi, orange and lemon. Flavor is pale malt, tropical fruit and citrus hops, mixed tropical and light stone fruit, grapefruit and orange. A burst of citrus rind, fruit esters and pine into a herbal hop finish with solid bitterness. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. This IPA starts some subdued, but complex mixed fruit flavors, but builds in intensity into a quite nice, almost citrusy and resinous finish. Fine hop bitterness lingers. I liked this quite a bit. I'll watch for this again when it is likely to appear in another year. It's easy to like an IPA that supports the community and tastes this good.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Stamp is a little hard to read, but it appears to have been canned 5/23/23.
Appearance: medium golden hue with an almost totally clear body and a nice effervescence. Head is a finger of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: sweetish malt with a rather earthy, citrusy hop aroma. Not too bad.
Taste: malt is sweet here too, but the earthiness has more of a dank character that really appeals to me. Nice.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this is a pretty solid IPA; the aroma fails to hint at the nice, rich, west-coast dankness that lies beneath.

Handsome clear amber brew with rings of foam in the Stella Artois chalice. Aromatic with peach and straw. Tastes of citrus and alfalfa. Grapefruit peel finish. Very clean and very bitter. This is a periodic brew to "highlight a community in need." From the 16 oz can.
