This new Pale Ale is brewed as the house beer for our friends at the Brave Horse Tavern. It’s golden in color has a moderate in body and bittered for balance. Cascade and Citra Hops in the dry-hopping process give it notes of citrus and a touch of pine. It is smooth and delicious.

(from notes taken on my phone at the brewery yesterday)

Pour looks like the quintessential image of 'beer' with a crisp clean light golden yellow body and a decent little fluffy white head. Decent head retention once it settles and delectable lacing down the glass marking the size of my sips.

Nose is clean grassy hops primarily. Relatively mild and easily overpowered by ambient brewery aromas.

The description talks about citrus, but I felt the hops were a little more grassy with a touch of honeydew melon. Clean and crisp though and incredibly easy to drink. Finish is a late come-on of gentle pine bitterness that lingers and lasts.
Ultimately this is an incredibly clean and crisp and pleasantly enjoyable APA. Not particularly bold or challenging, but that's absolutely fine for this easy drinking immensely enjoyable brew. The kind of brew you could enjoy a couple of them and still be having a good time.
