another awesome hoppy beer from these guys, who pretty much impressed us across the board when i was in with a couple of friends. this is clearer than most of them, and features galaxy, cryo citra, and experimental 692, which is starting to gather steam, im sure it will have a name by next year, its more available it seems now than ever, and so distinct and good, it needs to become a fixture i think. this is a real fruity one, with lime leaf, papaya, and lemongrass in the nose, pungent and dynamic, some berry element in there too, but almost not quite ripe, short of tangy but definitely not sweet or anything. the malt base seems lighter here than the others i got into here, a paler shade in the glass for one, but a very light body too for what this is, and one of the drier ones of the lot. i get a surprising amount of the galaxy considering the uniqueness of the 692 and the pungency of the cryo citra, but it has its own identity in here, all the limey goodness i have always known from it, herbaceous and lush in here too, awesome with this more beefy citra profile. clean in the finish, a little oily hoppy feel to it, but light and bright overall, and real drinkable. a very cool hop complexion in this, but not all from the new 692. i thought this was exceptional, these guys are killing the hoppy stuff right now!
