another gem of an ipa from these guys, i was literally stoked on every single hop forward beer they had in here, seems like the pipeline is never ending. its odd people dont really talk about these guys outside of seattle, but these were some of the better and more refined hoppy beers i have had anywhere this year, really impressive stuff coming out of this little brewery. this one is on the clear side, northwestern in style, but done with new zealand hops. they are unique in this context in that they have a little more bitter bite than i think most of us usually associate with these varietals, which always seem dry hop only these days. thats not to say this is bitter really, just more so than is customary i reckon. the hops have notes of white grape, meyer lemon, passion fruit, and white wine in final form, as well as soft pineapple candy, clementine, and grassy notes, delicious, summery, and in a really drinkable package here, lighter medium bodied, dry, and with above average carbonation. i cant get enough from these guys right now, seems like every hoppy beer they have going right now is money!
