Born and bred in Ballard the USA, this IPA rocks the old school and new school hops. Chinook and Centennial hops from Roy Farms bring the pine, grapefruit and lemon while Vic Secret hops pack a pineapple, passion fruit punch. To keep this party rockin' 8 days a week, we kept the malt bill soft and gentle on the palate. Like a lemon to a lime, a lime to a lemon, you'll sip this def ale with all the fine women...and men....or whoever you want to sip it with.

Another beer I had on tap from this brewery somewhere. I remember the name and trying to remember where I had it. There is one of 3 places I probably had it at the one in Hazel Dell.

real tasty ipa, quite hearty and seems to suit the early fall real well, boldly flavorful, a little bigger in body, bitter but also a little sweet with some grain richness in support, nice balance overall, extremely fresh when i had it, and another excellent hoppy beer from these guys overall, who do these so well time and time again. robust chinook and centennial in aroma and in the first half of the flavor to me, oily and resinous, woodsy and classic for this region, high alpha yes, but also fruity too, white grapefruit juice, zested tangerine, and even green snacking grapes to me, a little bit of pine lumber and grass, assertive but not overdone, the vic secret adds quite a bit later on to me, a little melon in the nose, juicy and ripe, more tropical in the flavor, almost a hint of passion fruit, maybe some dehydrated mango, it takes the edge off the others, and is a real nice second hop hit in the flavor. bitterness is steady, freshness is on point, and i like what the grain brings, a bit of baked warmth and sweetness where its needed, a longer and sort of extended body that likes the hop oils this is loaded with, delicious. good carbonation, some hop linger after the swallow, a nice recall on the palate. i was pleased with how this one warms up too, even more fruitiness, some stone fruit now, palate coating flavor explosion. another solid ipa from stoup, right in their wheelhouse.

Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the snifter. Lively on the tongue with a substantial body. Aromatic in the citrus peel vein plus cedar and mango. Clean and crisp with a deep pine and fruity taste. Slight malty sweetness with the orange flavor.

Brewed with Chinook, Centennial, and Vic Secret hops. Some mineral notes in the finish. Lots of flavor with a moderate bitter aftertaste. A more creamy carbonation would ease the load of the hops, I think. From the 16 oz can purchased at Central Market. Dated 06/29/21 on the bottom.

Served in 16oz jelly Jar glass. Poured a clean, clear honey gold color with just a thin cap of white head that had no retention or lacing.

The aroma had a light grain base, and citrus hops on top.

Same on the tongue, with the addition of a pleasant amount of bitterness.

The body was medium, a bit coarse, and had a semi-dry finish.

Drinkability was solid, fairly typical for the style.

Overall, a nicely solid brew. worth grabbing if you see it.
