On tap at hop n cork today...
The beer pours the predictable hazy, somewhat murky, golden amber color with good head retention and lacing. The nose is attractive, as I pick up tropical fruit and orange juice. The aroma profile isn't huge in this beer, and so I was all the more surprised and impressed by the flavor profile. It does replicate the nose, but this ipa delivers a lot of flavor, especially for the modest abv. There's some light bitterness in the finish as well, which I think enhances the beer's drinkability and adds another note to the flavor profile. Mouthfeel is fairly full for a hazy IPA, with a long, lightly bitter finish. Alcohol is very well integrated into the flavor profile, and as alluded to above, drinkability is quite good.
Nothing extraordinary here...
Just a well made, easy to enjoy and appreciate hazy IPA from the folks at Stoup.
