Thick white head. Very clear light orange with a medium gold tint. Malted Mandarin orange peel with a touch of spice and pine in the aroma. A smooth and rich mouthfeel, starts off the taste. A non over bitey hop note comes in with a floral hop note, accompanied with a spice note and a good caramelized malt presence. Very good, non bitey finish. Really balanced, unlike many I.P.A.s

Pours a medium golden amber with a two finger white head with great retention and thick lacing. Aroma of pale and lightly caramel malt, dank and citrus hops, mixed citrus juice. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and mild tropical fruit hops, orange, grapefruit, passion fruit and vague mixed tropical fruit; great citrus rind, lightly dank hop bitterness in the finish, lingering. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A fine, classic IPA with an interesting mix of West Coast and New Zealand hop flavors, both citrus and the more exotic fruit from down under hops. Delightful, herbal hop bitterness in the finish. Already voted, but only a week away from the big night of semi-results. This would be a quite satisfactory IPA for election night, but I suspect I'll be on harder stuff to survive. Glad to have some Stoup brew out in cans.
