Attractive crystal clear golden amber brew with sticky foam in the cider glass. Aromas of grapefruit and pineapple. Smooth and tangy on the tongue with plenty of carbonation. Slightly sweet and more pineapple in the taste. Winey and substantial body. Bitter aftertaste and no mistake. Overall it's another bitter and fruity hopped up brew, but pleasant enough. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Smudged date stamp.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 3/12/24.
Appearance: pale, light orange hue, with a dash of haze and a thick finger of frothy ivory foam atop which leaves a bit of chunky lace on the glass as it dissipates.
Smell: nicely tropical hops atop an earthy, slightly toasty malt base. I get notes of passionfruit, but this is definitely not a hazy — it has hazy notes with a classic IPA sensibility. I’m down!
Taste: like the aroma, it’s like, what if a tropical hazy IPA were just a regular-ass IPA? And I like the answer. Slightly sweet, but not overly so, with a moderate bitterness and a lovely tropical flavor that is slightly juicy, but definitely not pretending to be a NEIPA. I like it a lot.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess for the style.
Overall: this is actually a darn solid beer. I like hazies, they’re my favorite trend in beer (although, like, 10 years on, I can hardly call it a trend anymore can I?) … this replicates some of those sensations, but in a more classic IPA form. Kudos — this is a good beer.

Canned on March 11. Pours a faintly hazy amber, nice color and no floaters. Truth in labeling here; the head is rich with tropical fruit smell and taste. Bitterness is well controlled and the hop flavor is very tasty. We pick up definite tropical tastes as mango and kiwi. Long and lingering on the tongue, clean finish. We definitely put this a notch or two above the run-of-the-mill IPAs so common in the PNW.

Canned Feb 15, 2021. Fruity, citrus and pineapple. Nice balanced flavor, heavy on the fruit up front, light bitter finish.
